Today I want to talk to you guys about a very special brand called live clean. This is a Canadian brand that was introduced in 2007 as a hair care brand that focused on creating eco-friendly, highly effective products. They now do skin care, baby care, bath care, and lip care on top of their wide range of hair care.

Life Update: June
I can't believe it's almost been a month since I've moved to Birmingham. To be exact, I'm living in Solihull, a suburb area that is about thirty minutes away from Birmingham. Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to check in with you guys and let you know what I've been up to!

Soap & Glory Mini Haul
While I've been in the UK for almost a month now (oh my god), I didn't get around buying any new makeup until this week. I finally caved and did some shopping at Boots to pick up some highly coveted makeup that I could never get back home in Canada. First up, these three goodies from Soap & Glory which were all inspired by essiebutton's latest Brand Focus, where she talked about her favourite products from the brand. They were on a 3 for 2 offer at Boots, so I got the One Heck of a Blot Powder, the Kickass Concealer, and the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick.

bareMinerals Matte Foundation
I never considered myself much a powder foundation girl. I have a lot of redness all over my face, oily skin, and general imperfections, so powder never seemed to be the right thing for me. I was always worried it wouldn't provide enough coverage and look cakey, which nobody wants. I gave it a try with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation but it didn't sit that well with me. It seemed to stick to the dry patches on my skin, and didn't provide the full coverage I wanted. Then, I got a sample pot of the bareMinerals Matte Foundation and that little pot lasted me well over a week! I was completely hooked, so I went ahead and purchased the full size pot.

Oakwood Theme Park
The boyfriend and I have been spending our last vacation days in Pembrokeshire, Wales with his family. It's been nothing but sun, pubs, and golf. After spending almost two weeks trying to get settled in, it was the perfect way to decompress. We decided to spend one day at Oakwood Theme Park, which is the only theme park in Wales! I had never been before, but the boyfriend had plenty of childhood stories that happened in this park. Anyway, this is a photo heavy post, so click below to see how we spent our day.
