March Favourites

Can I just give a lot of appreciation for my Aldo Sunglasses? They were on offer 2/20$ last weekend, so I snagged a round, leopard-print pair and these black, cat-eye sunnies. I'm so excited to wear them out, especially since we've been getting some actual sunshine. I was even able to wear my denim jacket, so I was a very happy camper.

For a quick and easy makeup look this month, I've been using my Rimmel Stay Matte in 200 Soft Beige. This is a new foundation I've been trying out and I have to say, it's really grown on me! It's got great coverage, yet I don't have to use a lot of it. Actually, less is more with this foundation, as I've had to learn to only dab a few spots around my face and blend it out with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I barely need to add any concealer and it really does have a lovely matte finish. I've almost finished my Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara and oh my god, this was such an amazing product. It really opened up my eyes and it's very long-lasting. I would buy another one of these to be honest, I really liked the formula. To finish off my simply day look, I've been revisiting an old favourite. Super Orgasm was the first NARS blush I ever bought (before I got my massive blush palette) and I picked it up in those little bins Sephora has right by the cash registers that always suck me in. It's a great spring colour, a coral-pink mix with some gold flecks that give you a beautiful glowy finish.

Have you guys heard of the Tangle Teezer? Honestly, I bought this ages ago at Target, used it once, and deemed it a waste of money. For some odd reason I decided to use it again because everything I read online kept saying how much of a difference it made to your hair routine. After using it more than once, I have to say - everyone was right. It has made brushing my hair after a shower so much easier. I used to rake my hair, ripping out so much in the process. My boyfriend actually told me that the way I brushed my hair looked painl. The teezer makes it much easier and it causes way less breakage than a regular brush. I've also been loving the scrunchies I got from American Apparel a few weeks ago, they're perfect to hold up a ponytail without pulling on my hair. Ponytail headaches begone! I used to hate tying my hair because it would be painful after a few hours, but these things are a godsend.

What have you been loving this month?
Have you tried any of my favourite products?
