Hey Cheekies, so I am back today with a makeup product review. I'll be talking about the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, which has been available for a few months now. Initially, I was really curious about this because it was only available in Asia and we had yet to see in any of the North American/European markets. Plus, I was a fan of the Baby Lips (although not so much now because I've found better products) and I was curious where Maybelline would go with this Baby line.

An Afternoon with Peter Doig
My mom and I decided to take advantage of my few days off (thank god for reading week) and went to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. I missed the last exhibit they had, so I really wanted to go to the Peter Doig one before it closed. It's not so much that I know anything about Doig (I don't) but I want to take advantage of my membership before I leave. Plus, it's always good to get a little culture in your life, isn't?

A Sephora Wishlist
It's that time of the month again. There's only a few weeks left until I finally apply for my UK visa and it is really time for to tighten my purse strings. I have been really good at not buying anything in the last couple of weeks, except for complete necessities. I have even walked away from a fabulous drugstore makeup sale today at the pharmacy. It's no fun, but sometimes you have to prioritize, especially when you're planning on move to another country (not a cheap project to say the least).

A Valentine's Day Dinner
So on February 14th, my mom and I decided to cook a nice, homemade dinner because a) I'm a sad girl whose boyfriend lives in another continent, and b) being budget-friendly is always in fashion. I had been so excited to try this recipe out since I saw it in my cookbook, and my mom finally got all the ingredients we needed. This recipe was under the seafood section, and it's scallops with cirtrus and quinoa. I've never had quinoa before so it was really fun to cook something completely new. It was fairly easy to do, as most of the recipes in this book are done in less than an hour. It didn't require too many ingredients, and most were easy to find.

LUSH Volcano Foot Mask & Big Shampoo
I recently stepped into LUSH a few days ago because I was dying to try out their volumizing shampoo. I bought a few things for my mom, who had been complaining about her dry feet. We decided to get the Volcano Foot Mask, which retailed for about $13 for a smaller jar. I also got my Big Shampoo, which promises to create great volume for your hair (It's labeled as Volumineux here in Quebec).
